The century-old tradition of Nine Lessons and Carols leads the Christmas week series of special programs on Warren County’s public radio WCPI 91.3 with initial broadcast Sunday, 12 to 2:30 p.m., followed by repeated airings Thursday and Friday. WCPI will present the complete two-hour compilation of highlights from 10 years of the Advent season services from All Saints’ Chapel at the University of the South, thanks to special permission granted by internationally recognized institution, founded in 1858. Earlier this month All Saints’ hosted capacity audiences for three programs of its Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, based on a concept from the 1880s in England.
