Saint Thomas River Park CEO Dale Humphrey says our hospital is intended to be a comprehensive medical facility and resources have been devoted to make it such.“This is not a shuttle hospital where we send patients to Murfreesboro,” said Humphrey during an interview with the Standard last week. “Saint Thomas Health has invested too much here for that to happen and Murfreesboro is way too busy for that to happen. We want to offer anything here that could keep patients from having to drive somewhere else.”Humphrey has been CEO at River Park since May 16 and the hospital has been fully owned by Saint Thomas Health for about a year.Humphrey said managing a hospital puts him in touch with all walks of life.
