Morrison Library features Christmas creations

A holiday display of Christmas trees, the "Beyond Rosie: Women in World War II" display, and a display of quilted items made by 92-year-old quilter Minnie Lee Deakins is featured at the Morrison Public Library. She will be visiting the library Dec. 19 from 1-5 p.m. to share her knowledge of quilting.
Activities continue at the Morrison Public Library, located at 138 West Maple Street. A festive holiday feature of a Bakers Dozen of Trees is on display, along with the return of quilter Minnie Lee Deakins’ unique miniature creations and ornaments. Deakins plans to visit the library on Dec. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. to share her knowledge of quilting with the public, and some of her award-winning creations.
