Kaydee Rains named Preteen Fairest of the Fair

2015 Preteen Fairest of the Fair Kaydee Elizabeth Rains

Kaydee Elizabeth Rains won the coveted title of Preteen Fairest of the Fair in the annual event held Friday at the Warren County A&L Fair. She was chosen from a field of 21 contestants.
The 12-year-old is the daughter of Johnny and Tonya Rains, and is a seventh-grader at Warren County Middle School. The young miss is not only a beauty, she can also cook.
Her on-stage question was “What is your favorite food, and can you cook it?” She replied her favorite dish was her mother’s chicken salad, and she could make it if she had to.
Others in the royal court include Kataen Elizabeth Shockley, first runner-up, daughter of Penny and Grady Shockley; Katherine Grace Sparkman, second runner-up, daughter of Josh and Katherine Sparkman; and Kaydenze Denise Summerford, third runner-up, daughter of Wendy Hurst, and Josh Summerford.
A Top 10 group of contestants was chosen by the judges and presented an on-stage question. In addition to the court, the lists includes:
Myka Ellen Crawford, daughter of Blake and Tonya Crawford; Danika Lashay Reno, daughter of Jerry and Bethni Martin; Savannah  Brooke Winfree, daughter of Kent and Lisa Winfree; Sarah Grace Vinson, daughter of Greg and Tammy Vinson; Shayla Raine Crawford, daughter of Justin and Keri Crawford, and Brandi Gipson; and Breanna Gayle Daniel, daughter of Leslie Daniel-Parson, and Darren Parson. 
The 2014 Preteen queen Megan Kate Davenport crowned her successor, and was joined on stage with contestant questions by reigning Little Fairest Lauren Mansfield and Fairest of the Fair Emma Holmes. Anne Vance was the mistress of ceremonies for the evening.
