Deanne Kaye Michaels and Michael Rayburn Jacobs were surprised by their family with a golden wedding anniversary celebration Sept. 28.The couple wed Sept. 28, 1963 in Lafayette, and was honored at a reception held at Barren Fork Baptist Church. It was held by granddaughters Caitlyn Mooneyham and Kyrsten Johnson. The honorees were dressed in casual attire, with Mrs. Jacobs wearing a yellow rose and ivy corsage.
