Boyd students present living wax museum
1-HersheyWEB
Fourth-grader Talan Lynch hands out complimentary Hershey candy samples, as he portrays confectioner and philanthropist Milton Hershey.
Helen Keller, Mary Todd Lincoln, Steve Jobs, and Ben Franklin were just a few of the historic characters visiting Boyd Christian School recently at the annual Wax Museum presented by third- fourth- and fifth-grade students. The goal of the assignment was to combine curriculum projects, with students first choosing a deceased person in history to focus on. They then researched the person, learning about their life and accomplishments, including them in an informative oral presentation.
