Connie Denise Roberts and Robert Frank Leck were married June 21 in a double wedding ceremony with Beth Evon Bratcher and Bobby Joel Leck.
Separate vows were exchanged by the couples at Gum Springs Baptist Church in Walling. Shannon Restaino of Taylor, Mich., officiated both nuptials.
Miss Roberts is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Clara Roberts. She is the granddaughter of the late Collie and Hattie McBride and Willie and Mary Roberts, all of Quebeck.
The bridegroom is the son of the late Frank and Mercedez Leck of Taylor. His grandparents are Antonio and Martha Benetiz, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Leck of Taylor.
Kara Butcher was the guest register attendant.
Baskets filled with neon colored flowers and shimmering lights were placed at the entrance of the church. With definite sides designated to each wedding, colorful cascading neon bows were placed on church pews. Glowing candle light lit the ceremony, with a neon centerpiece and candles situated on a memorial table.
The bride was escorted by her oldest son, Dwayne Robert Leck. She chose an ivory organza ball gown designed with ruffle detail, a corset back and a chapel length train. Intricate beading and sequins accented the waistline, complimented by a matching lace bolero. She carried a bouquet of neon roses surrounded by baby’s breath tied with neon ribbons.
Serving her mother as matron of honor was Heidi Hinson of New Port Richey, Fla. She wore a hot pink chiffon and satin sleeveless gown.
Bridesmaids were her sisters, Cathey Restaino of Taylor, Tammy Roberts of Alpharetta, Ga., and Bonnie Molder. They were attired in chiffon and satin gowns with sashes of rhinestones, beading and sequins, topped with matching boleros. They carried roses and baby’s breath bouquets, tied with neon ribbon.
Lola Saucier, a great-great-niece, and Sophia Love, a great-niece, were the flower girls. They both wore tea-length white satin dresses with colored sashes tied in a flowing bow.
Grandson Aiden Hinson of New Port Richey, was their ring bearer.
The groom’s brother, Michael Leck, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mike Molder, bride’s brother-in-law; and Tony Restaino and Calvin Rogowski, both the bride’s nephews. Eathon Roberts, the bride’s great-nephew, was the wedding usher.
A wedding reception was held at the Rock Island Lions Club. Tables were covered in white lace cloths with neon colored runners down each table. Glass containers holding lit candles were surrounded by satin ribbons and rose buds.
A double heart banner featuring the couple’s names and date were placed behind the bride’s table. Tracy Leck served the guests.
The bride is a graduate of Kennedy High School in Michigan, and is owner of Connie’s Cleaning Service. Her husband is a graduate of Taylor Center High school in Michigan, and Wayne County Community College. He is employed with D&D Repair in Smyrna.
The couple is planning a future honeymoon to Las Vegas and is residing in McMinnville.

Beth Evon Bratcher became the bride of Bobby Joel Leck in the unique double wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia and Doyle Bratcher. Her grandparents Eva and Gary Brady, the late David Morton, and Martha Lee and Harce Bratcher of Smithville.
The groom’s parents are Connie and Bob Leck. He is the grandson of the late Kenneth and Clara Roberts, the late Frank and Mercedez Leck of Taylor.
A guest registry was attended by Harley Leck.
The Bratcher side of the sanctuary had Malibu blue and regency purple bows marking the pews. Glowing candelabras lit the ceremony, and baskets of colorful flowers welcomed guests.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, wearing a white strapless pick-up gown with a diamond embellished sash tied at the waist. She wore a traditional fingertip length veil. She carried a bouquet of assorted flowers and baby’s breath.
Her maids of honor were her daughter, Hailey Barks, and Angel Leck, the groom’s niece. Hailey chose a sleeveless Malibu blue knee length dress, with Angel wearing a regency purple selection.
Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister, Samantha Bratcher and niece Kassie McCarty. They wore Malibu blue and regency purple knee-length sleeveless dresses. Each carried long stem white roses tied with Malibu blue ribbons.
Katelynn Beth Bratcher, the bride’s niece, was the flower girl. She wore a bright purple satin knee-length dress, and sparkle filled shoes. Nephews of the bride, Isaiah Walls and Carson Key served as the ring bearers. They wore purple and blue vests and tie with Converse sneakers.
The groom chose his brother, Dwayne Leck, as his best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Barks, the bride’s son; Dakoda Perkins, the groom’s nephew; and Brad Roberts, the groom’s cousin. Freddy Piazza was the wedding usher.
A joint reception was enjoyed by the couples and guests at the Rock Island Lions Club. Cindy Morton and Susan Roberts served guests as they enjoyed musical selections provided by the Sound Machine. Chrystal Myers and Cindy Morton coordinated the day’s events. Wedding guests dined on a catered buffet-style meal, and were also treated to a trip to a photo booth to capture mementos of the evening.
The newlyweds are both graduates of Warren County High School, and are residing in Morrison.
Both couples left their wedding reception in separate limousines, with wedding trips to Las Vegas planned for a later date.
