SUNDAY, SEPT. 24

The Lance reunion will be held at Centertown CIC at 11 a.m. with lunch at 1 p.m. Bring a covered dish.

Victory Free Will Baptist Church will have homecoming and old-fashioned day with Rev. Chip Sekulich and singers The Glorylanders. A revival will follow Sept. 25-27 with services and special singing at 7 p.m. nightly.

The community is invited to attend Smartt First Baptist Church of Smartt’s annual homecoming dinner. A free luncheon will be offered immediately following 11 a.m. services. The church is located at 4907 Manchester Highway.

MONDAY, SEPT. 25

The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of McMinnville Housing Authority will be held at the Rebel Hill Community Room. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 28
State Sen. Janice Bowling will hold a town hall meeting at Warren County Administrative Offices, 201 Locust Street, at 1 p.m. in the Magnolia Room.

Warren County High School will have an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. for parents and members of the community to see its new Mechatronics and robotics labs.

Morrison School is holding a back to school bash.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 30

Volunteers are needed for continued work on River Trail North, the second phase of a walking trail along Barren Fork River. Individuals are asked to meet at Rocket Park at 9 a.m. For more information, call Wally Bigbee at 473-5968.

Young Men United will hold a fish fry fundraiser at 199 Vanley Rowan Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The class of 1967 of McMinnville Central High School will have its 50-year reunion. Anyone who hasn’t received information and wants to attend should contact Lynette at wc2258@blomand.net or Patricia at 931-507-2439.

A free community meal will be offered at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 317 Liberty Lane, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will include spaghetti with salad and dessert. Meals can be delivered within the city limits if you call 473-3813 no later than Sept. 28.

Homecoming will be held Oct. 1 at McMinnville Church of God on Locust Street with worship at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Jeff Page will give the sermon, celebrating his fifth year as pastor. There will also be a performance by a Christian mime group and special singing by the church choir. Lunch after morning service.

Homecoming and revival will be held at New Bybee’s UMC on Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. with the Webb Sisters singing. Covered dish lunch to follow. Revival services will be 6:30 p.m., Monday thru Wednesday with Benjamin Foust speaking.
