SUNDAY, OCT. 29

Westwood Church of Christ is inviting everyone to Trunk or Treat at 6 p.m. Worship in the auditorium followed by goodies and games. Bring a costume and join in for trunk style trick-or-treating in the parking lot. Soups and sandwiches available after the treats at 511 Morrison Street.

TUESDAY, OCT. 31

The public is invited to Harvest Trick or Treat. Food, drinks, candy and fun. Books for all ages. Rain or shine. The event takes place at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 Chapel Drive, one block behind Gondola.

Trick-or-treating will be held in downtown McMinnville from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be a children’s costume contest at Citizens Tri-County Bank at 3:30 p.m.

Trail of Treats will be held at McMinnville Civic Center from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, NOV. 4

A country ham breakfast will be held at Shady Grove CIC at 5261 Shady Grove Road in Morrison from 7 to 10 a.m. Adults $6 and children 6-and-under $3. Proceeds go to upkeep of center.

Ezel Masonic Lodge will hold its annual chili supper at the Ruritan Building in Morrison with chili, hot dogs and desserts. Cost is $5. Small children are free.

The Jeff McEver Memorial “Party Like It’s 1.999K Fun Run and Rocking Chair Reminisce” will be held Nov. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Short Mountain Distillery at 8280 Short Mountain Road in Cannon County. Event will benefit Second Harvest Mid-TN Food Bank, Family Lines, SUDS Diving and Heart Beats for Warriors. For more info or RSVP call or text 931-284-1933.

Lucky CIC will meet Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The veteran’s program at McMinnville-Warren County Senior Center on Morrison Street will be held at 10 a.m., Nov. 9 with lunch to be provided at 11:30 a.m. Warren County veterans and their spouses are invited.
