SUNDAY, OCT. 15

A fall revival will be held Oct. 15-20 at Calvary Baptist Church at 525 West End Avenue with Chris Miller speaking. Sunday evening services are at 6 p.m. and weeknights at 7 p.m.

TUESDAY, OCT. 17

The Warren County Republican Party will meet Oct. 17 at the county administrative offices on Locust Street. Congressman Dr. Scott Desjarlais will be speaker. A chili supper will be held during the meeting. The public is invited to attend. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The next Oster dinner will be held Oct. 17 at Medley’s on Manchester Highway, with meeting at 10:30 a.m. and dinner at 11:30 a.m. For more info call Eunice at 931-304-8335.

Westwood Church of Christ will hold a clothing give away from 8 to 10 a.m.

THURSDAY, OCT. 19

The Warren County Master Gardener meeting will be held in the Magnolia Room at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 19.

The 10th annual Angel’s Autumn Fest to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center is Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Deer Path Farms in Rock Island. Cost is $100 contribution per person. Call 931-507-2386 for info.

SATURDAY, OCT. 21

First Baptist Church of Smartt Youth Group is hosting a Cruise-In for a good cause on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is a food fundraiser for underprivileged children. Bring a food item such as mac and cheese, canned soup, juices, canned veggies, Pop-Tarts, instant oatmeal, fruit snacks, cereal bars, Ramen noodles, etc. Monetary donations are also accepted and will be used to purchase food. The critter masquerade ball and costume contest will be held Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. at the pavilion at the Loyal Order of the Moose at 2851 Smithville Highway. Entry is $10 and includes hot dog bar. Categories include scariest, cutest, funniest and best overall.

Irving College alumni will hold a reunion Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. Bring a covered dish.

Chris Golden, formerly of the Oak Ridge Boys, who earned a number-one song A Different Light and Crossover Artist of the Year for 2017, will be at Cumberland Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at 229 Rocky River Road at 6 p.m., Nov. 11. The event is free but a free will offering will be taken.
