After two years of task force efforts, Warren County received the press release late Wednesday, Nov. 16, that Gov. Haslam’s Drive to 55 Capacity Grant was awarding Motlow State Community College $5.5 million to build and equip a new advanced robotics training (ART) center near its McMinnville campus.Warren County had already approved donating a 4.3-acre tract adjacent to TCAT at McMinnville for the project. Preliminary building design involves a single-floor layout of close to 12,500 square feet featuring equipment bays and five classrooms.
