School sets senior superlatives

Boyd Christian School announced its senior superlatives for the 2021-22 school year.

Alex Stinson and Anna Jones were selected as Mister and Miss Boyd Christian School.

“I was excited to be chosen,” said Stinson. “I will miss seeing friends after graduation. My friends have been my greatest influence during my time at Boyd. I plan to become a jeweler and join the family business.”

Stinson will be continuing a Stinson family tradition. He will be the fifth generation in the family to become a jeweler. His father and two of his uncles own local jewelry stores.

“I was so grateful to be chosen for Miss BCS,” said Jones. “It feels very special since I have basically attended Boyd my whole life. I will miss getting to be around my friends every day and playing basketball and volleyball. I had many influences, including my family and many of the teachers at Boyd.”

Jones plans to attend Freed-Hardeman University and major in English.

• Most Likely to Succeed – Lia Wright

• Best Personality – Eli Jones Christian Rogers has played basketball for 10 years. He plans to attend Tennessee College of Applied Technology and enter its construction course. He scored more than 2,000 points during his Boyd high school career.

Lia Wright, another star on the basketball court for Boyd, signed a scholarship to play at Roane State.
