Have you ever wanted to learn to paint with oils? If so, here’s your opportunity to experience a class taught by a Bob Ross-certified instructor. Liz Farar will hold classes at the McMinnville-Warren County Senior Center, located at 809 Morrison Street, on April 2 and April 17.
At the April 2 class starting at 1 p.m., seniors will complete a painting ready for framing for a $25 fee. All supplies needed for the project are provided, and everyone is encouraged to wear old clothing.
The same day, a 5:30 p.m. class is open to anyone age 10 and up who is interested in oil painting, with the same $25 fee.
The next class will be held April 17 at the Senior Center, starting at 10:30 a.m. and running until 3 p.m. This class is open to the public, both adults and children 10 and up. The fee for this class is $50 because it’s a longer session, and students will complete a large oil painting to take home. Everything needed for the project is provided, canvas, paint and use of brushes.
