A career criminal was given a dozen years behind bars for leading lawmen on a high-speed chase through two counties on a stolen motorcycle.The defendant, Toby Lynn Young, 35, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of evading arrest, driving on a revoked license, and domestic assault. He was sentenced as a career offender due to his long criminal record, meaning he will have to serve 45 percent of the 12-year sentence before coming up for parole.Young stole a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle from a residence on Harrison Ferry Road prior to the chase. The stolen motorcycle was spotted by investigator Kevin Murphy on Cherry Springs Road.
