Injuries have claimed the life of a newlywed injured in a car crash earlier this month when the car driven by her husband crashed and overturned.The victim, Candice Lee Mosca, 24, was laid to rest Christmas Eve after she succumbed to her injuries earlier in the week at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She was under treatment there for nearly a week for injuries she sustained in the Dec. 15 accident when the vehicle driven by her husband, Michael Mosca, 32, crashed on Spencer Highway. The couple had been married just three days when the wreck happened.According to highway patrol reports, the accident happened during the evening hours on Highway 30 when Mr. Mosca’s 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo left the roadway for unknown reasons.
