For years, local residents have been curious about the Isha Foundation development atop Harrison Ferry Mountain. On Wednesday, Isha opened its doors to the community, and joined the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce in the process, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its 1,100-acre facility off Highway 8 on Isha Lane. The development is called the Isha Institute of Inner-sciences.“For years we’ve been quietly building this center and people have been asking what we are, if we’re some sort of religious group,” said Isha representative Allison Murry. “This is a yoga and meditation center.”The centerpiece of the property is a 39,000-square-foot dome that is said to be the largest meditation hall in the Western Hemisphere.
