Woman sentenced for stabbing her boyfriend after breakup

A woman was given a month in jail for stabbing her boyfriend after they broke up.The woman, Rhonda L. Brown, 44, entered a guilty plea before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to the charge of aggravated assault. She was ordered to serve 30 days of a four-year sentence and must undergo anger management classes. She is to report to jail March 19 to serve her sentence.Her jail time comes for an incident last summer during which she cut her boyfriend during a dispute at a Couch Street residence.“When I arrived, I observed a female holding a knife in her hand, yelling at a male subject,” McMinnville policeman Eddie Colwell said in his warrant against Brown, noting both the woman and man had blood on them.
