Woman gets year for second time

A woman was given a year in jail for the second consecutive court day Thursday, following her sentence Tuesday in the same courtroom.The woman, Debi Blair, was given an 11-month, 29-day sentence and must pay $320 for criminal impersonation, theft, simple possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license. Her sentence will be served concurrent, or at the same time, as the year she received from Judge Larry Ross two days earlier on charges of drug possession and driving on a suspended license. She also has additional time to serve for violation of probation.In other traffic court action:• Rickey Matheney was bound to the grand jury on charges of second-offense DUI and second-offense driving on a revoked license• Ernest Davis Jr., was directed to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Maximina Gonzales was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,403, perform 24 hours public service work and attend DUI school for DUI.• Jonathan Ramos was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,261, perform 24 hours public service work and lose his driver license for one year for DUI and driving on a suspended license.• Rodolfo Alcaraz must pay $314 plus restitution for leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.• Edward Reeves was bound to the grand jury on the charge of third-offense driving on a revoked license.• Haley Smith was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a revoked license.• Elieser Ramos was ordered to serve five days and pay $352 for second-offense driving on a suspended license.• Jorge Cervantes must pay $269 for driving without a license.• Travis Hale was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $322 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seatbelt.• Ben Martin must pay $354 for driving on a revoked license and running a red light and having no insurance.• Erica Lane must pay $304 for driving without a license.• Charlie Marshall must serve 48 hours and pay $384 for driving without a license.• Aaron O’Dineal was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a suspended license.• Jeffery Stephens was instructed to serve 48 hours and pay $232 for driving without a license.• Richard Wright must pay $162 for driving without a driver license.• Bobby Bain, Sherman Murphy, Armando Mendez, Primitivo Mendez, Roberto Lopez, Daniel Lance, Adrian Hall, Francisco Jantes, Donna Bell and Bradley Jay Basham must pay $152 for driving without a driver license.• Justin Hicks was directed to serve five days and perform 25 hours public service work for violation of probation.
