One might be a bit skeptical upon hearing that a member of one of the world’s most prestigious classical music ensembles, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, will be performing in McMinnville this month.But those familiar with the amazing story of Jeremy Wilson, the son of Ron and Renee Wilson, won’t be surprised at all. Jeremy, a trombonist with the orchestra, will be giving a solo recital at First Baptist Church at 403 N. Spring Street on Sunday, June 19 at 3 p.m. Jeremy will be accompanied by noted pianist Nataliya Sukhina. Admission is free, but Wilson will accept donations to help fund his tour to the U.S., his first as solo artist since joining the Philharmonic.
