Warren County Middle School will hold a fall dance for students in grades 6-8 this Friday, Oct. 5 in the WCMS gymnasium on 200 Caldwell Street. Students from all county schools in those grades are invited to attend.
The dance will be held in the WCMS gymnasium from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will be chaperoned by the WCMS Parent-Teacher Organization.
PTO member Darla Seymour said, “We hope the kids come out and have a great time. Lots of times when we are together, it is for ball games or during school. This will just be a fun time for everyone. The fall dance should provide an enjoyable atmosphere where the kids can be with friends and enjoy each other.”
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the WCMS main office for $5 or at the door the night of the dance for $7. A DJ will provide music.
Dress attire can range from casual, such as jeans and a T-shirt, to semi-formal, such as dresses and suits. However, skirts and dresses must extend to the fingertips when standing and tops must be appropriate, nothing low-cut, no bra straps showing and nothing sleeveless.
The WCMS administration will deny students admittance to the dance if they are determined to be inappropriately dressed.
