Warren County High School students and school supporters have a chance to win $100,000 for the high school and a Kelly Clarkson concert in the process during a State Farm promotion that begins Friday.
By simply using a computer and clicking your mouse, local residents can vote WCHS to the top by visiting the website www.celebratemydrive.com.
WCHS is one of 3,428 schools across the nation competing for the grand prize.
In all, there will be 10 schools that receive $100,000 and two that receive a concert from Clarkson. In addition, there will be 90 schools that receive $25,000 prizes.
It’s all in support of a teen driving safety campaign called Celebrate My Drive.
At the Warren County-Rhea County football game Friday night, local State Farm representatives will have two Internet cafés set up inside red State Farm tents where fans can take about 60 seconds to vote for WCHS.
Anyone age 14 or older – students, teachers, parents, grandparents, members of the community – can log onto the site from their laptop, desktop or mobile device and cast a ballot for Warren County. Organizers remind votes to make sure they are voting for the Warren County that’s in Tennessee.
Online voting will last one week.
