Warren County was able to dodge a bullet – or at least dodge storm damage – Sunday night. The storms that swept through Middle Tennessee left without inflicting much damage, according to area utility companies. Perhaps the worst hit was the WCPI radio station at Court Square.According to radio technician Richard Myers, a lightning surge damaged some smaller WCPI equipment, but larger items such as the transmitter were spared. He said the radio station was off the air for about 90 minutes while he made repairs.“We’ll probably have some more dead time here in the next few days as I do some more things,” said Myers, who indicated he is going to add more power surge protection.
