Warren County Animal Control making strides

After a year of programs to encourage pet adoptions, Warren County Animal Control’s adoption rate is increasing and euthanization is decreasing.“A year ago, euthanization was nearly 100 percent,” said Animal Control officer Tammy Webb. “We have been trying to keep track of the numbers to see if we are making a difference. Euthanization is down to around 20 percent with the rest of the animals being adopted.”Making the difference are two programs.
