A local man is encouraging school and county officials to “step it up” in protecting the children in Warren County schools.“I’m not saying the School Board is doing a terrible job,” said Rod McClellan, a Vietnam veteran. “I am saying they need to move forward and move faster on making changes to protect students. They just need to step it up.”McClellan, a school volunteer at West Elementary, has paid for 50 T-shirts to be made, each depicting an old-fashioned schoolhouse with a flag.
