Warren County and Van Buren County have helped Keep Tennessee Beautiful achieve perfection again.Keep Tennessee Beautiful once again achieved 100 percent participation from all 95 counties during the 2013 Great American Cleanup thanks to the tireless efforts of program volunteers. This marked the seventh year in a row Keep Tennessee Beautiful and its local organizers have accomplished this feat.Warren County government, led by Mary Lou Ward, planted 144 flowers and 1,288 trees in Warren County. An estimated 100 volunteers helped Warren County achieve these totals.“For the seventh straight year, Tennessee had volunteer participation in 100 percent of its counties for the Great American Cleanup, which is a remarkable accomplishment,” said Becky Lyons, Keep America Beautiful’s chief operating officer.
