An annual veterans program will be offered at Regions Bank on Main Street this Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. The event is to honor those who served in World War II.“The greatest generation has been under appreciated,” Heritage Alliance member Jimmy Haley said of World War II veterans. “We feel like it’s our duty to honor their duty by commemorating their service to our nation and for saving the world.”Each month, thousands of World War II veterans die nationwide. Haley says the number in attendance each year during this program proves Warren County is not excluded.“We take a group picture each year,” he said.
