A Van Buren County jailer faces felony assault charges for allegedly brandishing a gun against two motorcyclists in Spencer.The suspect, Vernon Frazier, 73, of Spencer has been indicted on two counts of aggravated assault by recklessness. He turned himself in Monday at the place of his employment – the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department. He is free on $2,500 bond and is presently suspended from his job as a corrections officer.Frazier is charged with waving a handgun in front of two motorcyclists.
