Winners of the Southern Standards ugly sweater contest are members of the Whitman family. Readers were encouraged to email pictures of their ugly sweaters to the Standard with the winner getting a free one-year subscription to the newspaper. Pictured, from left, are Sharon, Dawn and Bud Whitman.
