Two DeKalb County women are dead and their suspected killer is at Vanderbilt after an apparent double murder and attempted suicide Thursday in Smithville.Dead are 21-year-old Heather Nichole Eley and her stepmother 42-year-old Lori Ann Eley. They were found in their home on Allen’s Chapel Road. Officers say they were stabbed and shot.Smithville resident Brandon Michael Gray, 22, is the suspected killer.
