Two annual Veterans Day celebrations will be held Sunday to honor veterans. VFW’s event begins at 2 p.m., and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church’s begins at 5 p.m. “This year’s event will be a combined celebration of the VFW and Gardens of Memory,” said VFW Ladies Auxiliary president Phyllis Barnes. “We worked together last year and it was a huge success.”The event will be held at the VFW and will last about an hour.
