Two purse snatchers were among those sentenced Tuesday by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross.The women, Lois C. Ambrose and Tina Fite, were ordered to serve 30 days of 11-29 sentences and make $250 restitution for theft.They are charged with taking a woman’s purse. The purse contained cash, jewelry and a debit card. Someone reportedly tried to use the debit card at the Walmart ATM after the theft.In other court action:• Christopher Owens was bound to the grand jury on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.
