Approximately four tons of garbage was pulled from the Barren fork River in the sixth annual Friends of our Rivers cleanup on Saturday. It makes over 26 tons of garbage that has been collected in six cleanup trips, according to Breakfast Rotary member Rachel Killebrew.Killebrew said before the cleanup, efforts might be harder this year because the water is up and is moving faster than normal.
