Fair time is one of Martin Grissom’s favorite times of the year. The ambitious 15-year-old is a member of the Youth Fair Board and he dominated agricultural entries this year, winning 50 blue ribbons.After volunteering at the fair all week, Grissom said he has a hard time believing the excitement is over for another year.“Normally the fair goes by in slow motion,” said Grissom while working in the Midway CIC food booth. “But this year it’s just flown by.”New Warren County 4-H agent Terra Kimes got her first experience at the local fair – about 70 hours worth of experience.
