Three local men are eyeing possible bids for state senate, joining two Republicans who are already in the race.Picking up qualifying papers for 16th District State Senate race were Kevin Dunlap, Jeffery L. Bottoms, and Rod McClellan. Dunlap and Bottoms are the first to show interest in seeking the Democratic nomination, while McClellan, should he qualify, would bring the number of Republican candidates to three. Thus far Janice Bowling of Tullahoma and Ron Stultzfus of Winchester have qualified to seek the office on the Republican side.
