A man angry over his girlfriend’s text messages will serve two months in jail after things turned physical during his rage.The man, Marcus Brandon Mott, 24, entered guilty pleas before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to charges of domestic assault, evading arrest and violation of probation. He was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence on the domestic assault charge, plus he must additionally serve any time he owes for violating his probation. He was directed to attend the batterer intervention program and was warned to stay away from the victim.That last requirement could be hard for Mott as his girlfriend told police he has violated two previous orders of protection meant to keep him away from her and he has assaulted her in the past.His jail time comes after police arrived at her West End Avenue residence to investigate an open line after someone called 911.
