A teen was taken to Vanderbilt after she was seriously injured in a four-wheeler wreck near her home Monday afternoon.The victim, Matti Catherine Melton, 13, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center from River Park Hospital late Monday afternoon for treatment of undisclosed injuries.The victim’s mother told sheriff’s deputies the accident happened in a nursery field behind their home on Grizzle Lane which is located off Smithville Highway just south of Dibrell.The mother said she was unsure what caused the accident as her daughter was riding alone at the time.
