Automotive technology students at Tennessee Technology Center at McMinnville now earn the prestige that accompanies completion of a program certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.“During the past several months, we have worked closely with NATEF to make certain our program would meet strict industry standards,” said Donnie Allen, TTC McMinnville automotive instructor. “Now we are delighted to join the ranks of ASE certified technician training programs. Students will be assured of a quality education, and shop owners will be assured of getting quality job applicants.”In order to achieve this coveted recognition, the training program underwent rigorous evaluation by NATEF. Nationally accepted standards of excellence in areas such as instruction, facilities, and equipment were used.
