Could the future of the Blue Building be a McMinnville Botanical Garden and Arboretum? According to Cornell University student Jordan Cleek, who interned for the city over the summer and performed an analysis on the Blue Building to determine future uses, a botanical garden and arboretum could be a possibility.“My internship was about finding hope and giving it back to the community for the Blue Building,” said Cleek. “Without hope and without passion, this building is going to be demolished and a little bit of McMinnville’s history is going to be lost.
