Street fair, block party still on schedule

There's still a chance to get your street fair on.
Last weekend's Autumn Street Fair in McMinnville may have been largely washed away, but a similar event is taking place this Saturday in downtown Sparta. Over 140 booth vendors and five bands are scheduled to be on hand from noon to 7 p.m. at Liberty Square.
This free event will come to an explosive conclusion with a fireworks show set for 7 p.m.
If you're looking to stay in Warren County, the annual Harvest Block Party has been rescheduled. Originally set for last Saturday, this free block party takes place Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at Living Word Fellowship Church at 2303 South Chancery Street.
Free corndogs, drinks and cotton candy will be available, along with a bungee jump and an inflatable 60-foot obstacle course.
If you're eager for a hayride, Cedarwood Pumpkin Patch has started its regular weekend schedule. The popular fall attraction stays open till 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Cedarwood Pumpkin Patch features traditional favorites like the corn maze, along with a number of new play stations for the kids.
