FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A Tennessee emergency management official says two people have died and six were injured when a tornado touched down in Lincoln County. Tennessee Emergency Management Agency spokesman Jeremy Heidt said state officials are sending aid on Tuesday, including 20 National Guardsmen, to help local officials as they search for more possible victims and try to clear roads blocked by debris. Lincoln County Emergency Management Director Mike Hall says the winds destroyed several homes Monday night as well as an elementary school in the county that borders Alabama.
