Prominent local pharmacist Nestor Stewart was in critical condition last night at Erlanger Medical Center after experiencing a medical problem yesterday at Stewart Pharmacy. It occurred around 1 p.m. yesterday afternoon and caused Stewart, 83, to be airlifted to Erlanger.“At first they thought it was a stroke but now they’re not sure,” said his son, David Stewart from Erlanger last night. “They’re not sure if he had a stroke and they say it wasn’t a heart attack so right now they don’t really know but he’s doing better. He said something and he can move all his body parts so he has improved and I feel a lot better about how he’s doing.”
