Stealing $1 gets man 180 days

A dollar will cost a local man 180 days in jail after he pled guilty to a burglary in which he got away with a single buck.The burglar, Colby Blake Duggin, was directed by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to serve 180 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and make $1,200 restitution for two burglaries he committed around the city. A partner in crime, Colton Whyte Hollis, was granted a three-year judicial diversion and must perform 60 hours public service work on the charge of aggravated burglary. He can have the felony stricken from his record if he successfully completes his probation.The two were arrested after they fled a house on Hill Street.
