JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (AP) — A judge has sentenced an East Tennessee man to life in prison in the killings of his parents and his aunt.

WCYB-TV (http://bit.ly/2htpK58) reports a judge in Washington County Criminal Court handed down the sentence Friday after Daniel Lee Henry entered guilty pleas to three counts of murder.

The bodies of Robert Kenneth Henry, Melody Diane Henry and Barbara June Hammonds were found last October in the home they shared with Daniel Lee Henry. Officials say they had been shot in the head.

District Attorney Tony Clark told the station that Henry admitted he was addicted to drugs, though he told police that he killed the trio because they told him he wasn't good enough.
