KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities say a traffic dispute between strangers resulted in one of the men killing the other before then turning the gun on himself.

Knox County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Hillary Martin said in a news release that 41-year-old Jason Patrick Nasca shot 23-year-old Nicholas Allen Strange in a convenience store parking lot Wednesday evening following an argument.

Deputies say Nasca, who had a carry permit, then shot himself.

Officials say Nasca and Strange did not know each other. Investigators have not released details about the dispute, which occurred a few miles south of Knoxville.
