MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Memphis police say a 75-year-old woman has died from injuries suffered in a Jan. 30 stabbing.

Media outlets report Sherry Owens died Saturday at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, where she had been in critical condition.

Owens' 55-year-old daughter, Brenda Owens, died at the scene of the stabbing in Memphis.

Sherry Owens' 38-year-old son, Zedric Owens, was arrested in February and initially charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder.
