The state has approved the basement of City Hall for relocation of McMinnville’s Driver Testing Center. While the deal isn’t sealed, it’s one step closer.McMinnville Mayor Jimmy Haley announced during Tuesday’s full board meeting that he received confirmation from Tennessee Department of Safety assistant commissioner Lori Bullard the basement has been approved upon initial review. “I did get an email from assistant commissioner Bullard today that they are moving forward with our proposal,” said Haley.
