Thirty-first Judicial District Judge Bart Stanley has been appointed by Judge John D. Wootten Jr. of Lafayette to be on the executive committee of the Tennessee Trial Judges Association.Judge Stanley’s one-year appointment began June 12. The group’s executive committee sets policy for the trial judges association in working with the legislature, as well as other areas of government.“I am so pleased Judge Stanley is willing to serve on our executive committee,” said Judge Wootten, president of the Tennessee Trial Judges’ Association. “He is a valued member of the judiciary and I will trust his wise counsel throughout the coming year.”Said Stanley, “It’s an honor to serve my fellow judges in this capacity.
