Stanley hears circuit docket

Sentences were handed down last week by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley. Included in court action:• Eric Webb was given a four-year probationary sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs for promoting the manufacture of meth.• Thomas Ray Patterson was ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence and perform 24 hours public service work for violating an order of protection.• Charles Brandon McCurry was ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, perform 40 hours public service work and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Derrell Walker was ordered to serve three days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $300 plus costs, perform 32 hours public service work, and lose his driver license for one year of DUI.• Misty Newby was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence for driving on a revoked license. That sentence is in addition to her sentences for violating her probation on her prior convictions on charges of second-offense DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of an order or protection.
