Stanley hands down sentences

Sentences were handed down this past week by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley on traffic-related cases.Included in circuit court traffic action:• Kristy D. Herron was ordered to serve 150 days of a three-year sentence, pay $300 plus costs and perform 32 hours public service work for violation of habitual traffic offender status.• Bradley Morgan Burton was instructed to serve seven days of a six-month sentence, pay $100 plus costs and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a revoked license.• Scott Daniel Beechum was ordered to serve five days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, perform 40 hours public service work, pay $400 plus costs, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Thomas L. Grissom was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, perform 24 hours public service work, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Jeffery Allen Ward was ordered to serve three days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,150 plus costs, perform 32 public service worked and lose his driver license for one year for DUI and possession of Dihydrocodenone.• Kenneth Jackson Jr. must serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his prior conviction on the charge of violation of habitual traffic offender status.
