National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day is always recognized on March 29. In an effort to honor these many fine businesses which fill our community, the Southern Standard has produced a special publication inside today’s edition.The booklet is called “Open for business: A salute to locally owned businesses.”Small business owners don’t punch a time clock. That’s because they can often be said to always be on the job.
